Hot Lotto - flood: 09/26/2009

The second example is similar to the first one but in addition it takes advantage of the: Neighborhood & Friendship and the Cycles functions. After identifying the Golden group that is currently 'cold'(as per the latest draw result: 09/23/2009), the situation looks as follows:

Its numbers (6, 10, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 32, 34, 37) started to catch up.. but suddenly stopped. The balance is not restored yet so let's give this group a chance.

As always we start from looking at: Numbers in Floods function:

It tells us that numbers: 15 and 21 were present in most of the floods (TIP: always pick these numbers that come up in more than 50% of total number of floods). In the next step let's search for 'close friends' of 15 and 21 in their neighbourhood.

Analyzing number 15:

17 and 16 seem to be closest friends of 15. We pick them.

Whereas “21” has as friends like 23, 22 and 19

     So far we've managed to pick: 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 23 numbers. We expect a 'flood' in the next 1-3 draws.

To improve our choice, it’s worth looking at the - Numbers Chart.

     It appears that:

  • number 16 has been very active recently (last 29 draws). It may become 'hot' again.
  • ball 34 is rather 'cold' - it has been 'on wave' (4 times consecutively) 25 draws ago.
  • ball 10 seems to be irregular.
  • 6 is regular - it's time for this number to be drawn.

The last step is the Cycles function:

Cycles shows that among the Golden group numbers.. it's definitly time for: 23 and 32. These two have not been drawn in the current cycle yet.

     Our final (10 numbers) selection: 6, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 22, 23, 32, 37..

In the next draw (09/26/2009) we get: 16, 21, 23, 32, 37 !

We've managed to create 10-number group, out of which 5 balls were winning ones.
